ICAT is supporting El Salvador to develop and institutionalize a framework for monitoring its NDC actions, in line with the requirements of the MPGs. El Salvador is also a member of the ICAT regional climate action transparency hub in Central America.

Overview

The project is supporting the management and monitoring of NDC implementation, focusing on prioritized sectors, by improving the framework for periodic data collection and management, revising institutional arrangements, and proposing a reporting format for policies, actions, and measures. Additionally, it will update El Salvador's NDC tracking platform to align it with the country's MRV framework.
