Spotlight: Transparency for NDC 3.0

We are pleased to share the latest edition of Spotlight, the signature online newsletter of the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT), released shortly after the SB 62 Climate Conference in Bonn—our home city—which was energized by delegates from around the world.

At SB 62, the transparency community sent a powerful message: transparency is no longer just a technical formality—it is fundamental to credibility, ambition, and trust. With the Enhanced Transparency Framework now in effect, countries are better equipped to track progress, identify gaps, and refine their climate strategies.

It was a pleasure reconnecting with many of you at the conference. Your passion and commitment continue to inspire our work. ICAT is honoured to stand alongside such a vibrant and dedicated community.

This edition focuses on Transparency for NDC 3.0, a timely theme as countries gear up for the NDC 3.0 submissions.
